Tools for Graffiti Removal from Paint, Metal, and other Smooth Surfaces
- Graffiti Remover Solvent: Green Label Medium Duty for Painted Surfaces (soy-based, pH Neutral, non-aerosol) or Red Label Heady Duty for Wide Spectrum (if smooth surface is non-sensitive such as aluminum, metal, fire hydrant, newspaper box, mail box etc.)
- Non-Scratch Scouring Pad: (Scouring pads mounted on a handle work the best, Blue 3M Non-Scratch scouring pads with sponge and scouring pad combo are recommended. )
- Gloves: Chemical resistant (thicker gloves will prevent tears and allow for repeated use)
- Safety Goggles: Non-vented (protects the eyes, especially important scrubbing a surface or pressure washing)
- Dray Rag: Dry, Absorbent rag, microfiber, or paper towel (necessary to remove bulk of softened up, "buttery" paint from surface)
- Wet Rag: Wet rag or paper towel (necessary to wipe down surface to remove any residual bulk of softened up, "buttery" paint from surface)

- Graffiti Remover Solvent: heavy duty for brick and concrete (soy-based, pH Neutral, non-aerosol)
- Brush: Brass wire brush or stiff nylon grout brush (the harder the bristle, the more "bite" but the greater the risk of scratching the substrate.)
- Scouring Pad: (Scouring pads mounted on a handle work the best)
- Gloves: Chemical resistant (thicker gloves will prevent tears and allow for repeated use)
- Safety Goggles: Non-vented (protects the eyes, especially important scrubbing a surface or pressure washing)
- Pressure washer, garden hose or bucket of water to rinse.
- If using a pressure washer, always use a face shield and 25 degree green nozzle.
