Man Arrested for Painting Swastika on Neighbor's Garage Door

A swastika and anti-Semitic slur "kyke" was painted on a garage door in Staten Island, New York.  Effective policing lead to the arrest of the graffiti tagger.  It is essential that graffiti tagging be prioritized by the authorities to discourage future graffiti attacks.

Removal of spray paint from garage doors can be challenging as the original factory applied paint coating is typically very thin and delicate.  Clean City Pro Green Label Graffiti Remover is a medium-duty graffiti remover designed for painted surfaces.  Suggestions for removal include test first in inconspicuous location, work and complete graffiti removal in small areas, allow for adequate dwell time to allow graffiti spray paint to get soft and buttery (scrubbing with scouring pad can quickly remove thin OEM painted finish revealing bare metal), use nylon bristle brush to remove paint pigment from fake wood grain, rinse well with water to remove any product and paint pigment.  Pressure washer can be used.  Clean City Pro Red Label Heavy Duty Graffiti Remover is another option.  It is a full strength option so will work faster but put more pressure on the underlying painted surface as well.
